Each of these crafted pages invites junior chefs to roll up their sleeves and not only play in the kitchen but also get their picky eater pals to eat new healthy foods.
Kids will study vegetables at the village garden, go with animals to the shops, and will have a teddy bear tea party. The children will then get the surprise that they will prepare special cakes for their guests. Key Stage 1 (KS1) readers will have a lot of fun reading the cooking story with a wonderful combination of pithy dialogue, colourful illustrations, and fine food recipes.
Parents can use read-aloud time to help children to think about the content of the story and will be fascinated by exciting and vibrant illustrations. It was a beautiful children’s book written by Mary-Anne, a mom turned author, who has brought a creative spark and warmth to every page.
